Pattaya Marathon 2019 recap, winners and photos

CHON BURI:

Over 13,000 runners from all over the world took part in the 28th annual Pattaya Marathon 2019 in Pattaya in Bang Lamung district yesterday, Sunday the 21st of July, 2019.

The event started at 3.30am from in front of the CentralFestival department store on the Pattaya beach road.

Featuring lively band performances, fireworks, costumes and an exciting carnival atmosphere the marathon truly brought a high level of energy and excitement to the city.

The winners of the marathon were as follows:

Chepkok Kibiwott, Kenya-Men’s 42K winner-100,000 baht prize

Marta Birehan, Ethiopia, 42k woman’s winner, 100,000 baht prize

David Kibet, Kenya, 21K men’s winner

Eubale Betrie, Kenya, 21k woman’s winner

Nathawut Ounnoum, Thailand, 10.550k men’s winner

Sunisa preechaprong, Thailand, 10.550k women’s winner

In the 3km wheelchair race, Nathakan Chaotrakan and Ornanong Praikaew, both of Thailand, were the winners in the men’s and women’s categories.
