Chonburi to host IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships August 20th-25th

The 14th International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) World Dragon Boat Racing Championships will take place in Chonburi, this month.

Chief Petty Officer First Class Santat Mingwongyang, who is a Thai coach, told The Pattaya News today, August 6th, 2019:

“This will be the first time that the IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships will take place in Thailand. There will be 388 athletes from Thailand to join the competition. People are invited to join the event which is expected to have over 4,000 athletes from 30 countries in six continents to take part.”

The event will be held at the Mabprachan Reservoir, Bang Lamung District from 20-25 August. It is free to attend and should be an exciting event according to Santat and the other organizers.
