Differ Pattaya is to be re-opened this weekend for the first time in about four months after being closed for Covid-19 precautions with new safety measures and regulations.

One of Differ’s owners, Mr. Surajai Attanart, said Differ is located on Pettrakun Road near Central Marina in Pattaya. He told The Pattaya News that they will officially open again on Saturday, July 25 from 6:00 PM to midnight. Differ has been one of Pattaya’s most popular night clubs, primarily for a Thai audience, for many years.

The reopening will follow the national measurements and regulations in regards to preventing a possible breakout of Covid-19 with temperature checks and cleaning hands with alcohol gel.

Visitors need to wear face masks and register on the Thai Chana platform.

They have also decreased the number of chairs and tables from 160 down to 50 with two meter social distancing between them to meet the government regulations.

There are two stages which are a DJ stage and a live Stage for live music.

Mr. Surajai said “Before our target customers were primarily Thai men, about 70-80% of the crowd, and the rest are foreign customers, mostly with their significant others.”

“However now, with our reduced capacity and lack of foreigners in Pattaya we expect a mix of primarily Thai customers with the occasional local foreigner. We are excited to reopen and welcome back our regular customers.” Surajai concluded.
