I’ve experienced my fair share of brunches across Pattaya, but the Sunday Brunch at Goji Kitchen Grill & Bar at the Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa stands firmly at the top, it is, without question, the finest in the city.

From the moment I stepped into the dining area, I was struck by a genuine sense of theatre. The layout is masterfully designed: Bright colors from fresh seafood, glistening roasted meats, jewel-toned fruits, and delicate desserts all contrast beautifully against warm wooden tones. It creates a moment of real “shock and awe” as you take it all in, an immediate signal that this is a curated experience.

A Culinary Journey Led by Expertise

Under the direction of Executive Chef Marcello Piacentini, the brunch feels like a global tasting tour. The spread is extensive without being overwhelming as each section feels intentional and refined. The seafood selection is exceptional, featuring fresh-shucked oysters and seafood on ice. Nearby, the Japanese station is fully visible, with chefs preparing sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and maki rolls to order, something I always appreciate for both freshness and craftsmanship.

Then there’s the carvery, a true highlight. Watching the carving of the Peking Duck alongside an Australian rack of lamb, and the famous Goji beef short rib, is a spectacle in itself. The meats are expertly prepared, tender, and deeply flavorful.

Italian comfort dishes from La Familiare add another dimension with truffle risotto, lamb pasta, hand-crafted pizzas, and tuna tartare, while Thai specialties ensure a strong local presence.

Atmosphere, Design & Experience

The dining space itself deserves special mention. It’s spacious, stylish, and thoughtfully arranged, allowing guests to move comfortably between stations without feeling crowded. The seating blends modern comfort with a relaxed tropical aesthetic, perfect for a long, indulgent afternoon. The staff are attentive and genuinely friendly, striking that ideal balance between professionalism and warmth. Service flows seamlessly, never intrusive but always present when needed.

The musical accompaniment is another subtle but important touch. The live band plays chilled, relaxed tunes that perfectly enhance the Sunday vibe and it elevates the experience without ever overpowering conversation.

Details That Make It Memorable

The cheese and fruit selection is particularly unique, offering both local and imported varieties that feel carefully curated rather than standard buffet fare. And the desserts, beautifully presented, almost too good to eat, are a feast for the eyes as much as the palate.

For those who want to elevate the experience further, paying a few baht more unlocks access to wines and beers from an extensive cellar, which I found to be excellent value given the quality and range.

Families are clearly considered too, with a kids’ corner and an overall welcoming atmosphere that makes it suitable for everyone.

My Final Thoughts

This brunch isn’t just about abundance, it’s about quality, design, and experience working in harmony. From the visual impact to the depth of flavors and the relaxed, refined atmosphere, it delivers on every level.
