Have you ever been to the fishery on Jomtien Beach for truly fresh just caught seafood daily?

Jomtien Beach-

 Psssst….we have a secret.

Although many locals and ex-pats are aware, nestled on Jomtien Beach across from the Royal Thai Pavilion Hotel, on Jomtien Beach Road, is a Thai fishery that starts selling freshly bought seafood caught by local fishermen from the Gulf of Thailand every single morning at 5:00 A.M.

You can often see these fishermen catching squid and other fish if you look out towards the sea at night with their green lights meant to attract squid in particular. While most people are sleeping these hard-working folks are up all night catching a variety of seafood.

The fishery starts selling to the public properly around 5:00 A.M., although some folks will show up as early as 4:00 A.M. to get the first choice of the night’s catches. The prices are often lower than major markets and many local residents swear on this way to purchase seafood. The main vendors in the market can be reached at the following phone numbers if you have questions or want to ask if they have certain fish before driving out: 0858192538, 0898216075
