Pattaya Beach Loy Krathong Traditional Festival Will Continue on November 5th as The Flow of Eternal Loyalty, Forever in Our Hearts
Events and Changes:
1. Organize the Little Noppamas Pageant Contest for the Pattaya Loy Krathong Tradition 2025. Contestants must wear one of the 8 royal-favored Thai costumes. Judging criteria require participants to speak about the royal duties of “Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, who embraces and sustains the people forever.” This is to pay homage and remember Her Majesty’s boundless royal grace. The winner, in addition to receiving prizes, will represent Pattaya in royal Thai attire to welcome tourists at the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival, how titled The Light of Eternal Loyalty, Forever in Our Hearts
2. On stage will include ceremonies and activities held to express grief and pay homage to Her Majesty’s boundless royal grace.
3. Before the event begins, the audience will stand in silent tribute for 1 minute to express condolences in memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
4. Invite Thai and foreign participants to wear any of the 8 royal-favored Thai costumes (with black ribbons attached) and request that all attendees dress in muted tones, as a gesture of reverence for Her Majesty’s grace.
5. Set up condolence stations to pay respects to Her Royal Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
6. No floating of krathongs in the sea will be allowed this year. Float krathongs online (with just a fingertip) instead, or in the pools provided by officials within the event area.
7. Strictly prohibit the sale and lighting of fireworks, sparklers, and sky lanterns.
