The Miss Grand Contest for Thailand’s Southern Border Provinces is set to hold its pageant in Pattaya from December 11th to 15th.

A press conference to officially announce the event was recently held at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, led by Mr. Thakorn Chiaphermpoon, Director of the Miss Grand Southern Border Provinces Contest. Mr. Thakorn announced preparations for the event featuring contestants from Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat.

According to Mr. Thakorn, Pattaya was chosen as the venue for the pageant and the activities for the contestants, which will take place from December 11th to 15th. The final round is scheduled for December 15th at the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya. The event aims to select representatives from Thailand’s three southernmost provinces to compete in the national Miss Grand pageant in March 2025.

The press conference featured a hijab fashion show presented by nine contestants, which showcased Islamic-inspired fashion, and unveiled four crowns for the competition: Miss Grand Yala, Miss Grand Pattani, Miss Grand Narathiwat, and the special “Langkasuka Thap Phraya” crown for the Pattaya event.

Additionally, Mr. Banlue Kullavanijaya, Chairman of Pattaya City Council, presented sashes to the nine representatives selected from 24 contestants for their upcoming activities in Pattaya.
