Over 2,000 people from Chonburi joined in a run to raise funds for a kid’s charity

Chonburi —

Srisuwiwat School in Chonburi organized the “SVT Run 2022 Charity For Kids” walking-running event to raise funds in support of financially strapped kids at the Baancharajchai Center for Child Protection and the Jingjai Foundation.

The SVT Run was not really competitive as the objective was to encourage people to become active and donate to a worthy cause. Participants could choose to walk or run at their own pace. The race was kicked off by Pratamaporn Fukreuk, the principal of Srisuwiwat School.

Runners were divided into four categories: X-Run for ages 30 and up, Y-Run for ages 16-30, Z-Run for ages 7-15, and Kids Spirit for ages 6 and under. The race circuit covered eight kilometers around tourist spots in the Banglamung district. The event was deemed successful as over 2,000 people showed up and donated.
