Pattaya city officially kicked off the “Pattaya Art Contest” on Sunday, June 3rd, at Pattaya Beach.

The event, which took place in front of Central Pattaya Shopping Center Sunday, July 2nd, was aimed at enhancing the artistic talents of youths, students, and the general public who had a passion for art and creative thinking.

Under the theme “Pattaya: The Essence of Colors,” the contest gathered positive attention from art lovers around the country, with over 700 people of all levels participating.

The competition was categorized into five levels: 1) Elementary School (Lower Grades), 2) Junior High School, 3) High School (Upper Grades), 4) High School (Final Years) and Vocational Education, and 5) Undergraduate and General Public.

The winners will be rewarded with a total prize of over 225,000 baht, with the highest prize being 50,000 baht. The judging committee, consisting of professors, deans of art institutes, independent artists, and national artists, will evaluate and select the winners of the competition.

The judging results will be released on July 9th, 2023.
