The “PATTAYA COUNTDOWN 2026 MONOMAX” is Pattaya’s annual New Year celebration, scheduled for December 29–31, 2025, at Central Pattaya Beach and Koh Larn in Chonburi Province. The event aims to elevate the festival to national prominence, boosting tourism, stimulating the local economy, distributing income to communities, and sustainably enhancing the positive image of Pattaya and Chonburi.

Pattaya City Police Station has integrated efforts with all sectors, including government agencies, civil society networks, and private organizations, to deploy personnel for security and traffic support for residents and tourists. Provincial Police Region 2 has directed thorough discussions to establish guidelines and measures ensuring the event proceeds smoothly.
Emphasis was placed on multifaceted safety protocols, with the protection of public and tourist safety declared the top priority. This includes stationing officers at event venues, screening points, high-risk areas, and key traffic junctions, as well as providing security on land and sea. Traffic management strategies will focus on maintaining flow and reducing congestion amid expected large crowds, aiming to build readiness across agencies and instill confidence in visitors joining the year-end celebrations in Pattaya.

The three-day event promises spectacular light, sound, and fireworks shows, along with performances by leading artists, all free to the public on Pattaya Beach starting from 4:00 PM daily.
