Pattaya City Holds Preparatory Meeting for “Ray Run Pattaya 2025” – Deputy Mayor Krisana Leads Comprehensive Planning
(October 29, 2025) – Mr. Krisana Boonsawas, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, chaired a coordination meeting to ensure full readiness for the “Ray Run Pattaya 2025” charity event. The session, held in Meeting Room 221 at Pattaya City Hall, brought together relevant agencies to finalize event logistics, traffic management, facility support, cleanliness, and safety measures for participants.

Organized by Pattaya City together with the Father Ray Foundation, the Thai Paralympic Sports Association, Lions Clubs International District 310C, and Inspire Runner, the “Ray Run Pattaya: Charity Run to Give New Life to Children and the Disabled” is scheduled for Sunday, November 9th, 2025, at Central Pattaya Beach. The event’s theme, “Be the Rays of Hope for Children in Need,” features race distances of 5 km, 3 km, 1 km, and a 2.5 km wheelchair category. Registration is open to duo teams, individuals, children, people with disabilities, and wheelchair users to promote equal participation. Net proceeds will support ongoing Father Ray Foundation projects, including the Father Ray Children’s Village, the Pattaya Redemptorist Early Childhood Development Center, the Father Ray School for the Blind in Pattaya, and the Father Ray Technology College in Pattaya. Participants may use donation receipts for tax deductions.

Race Schedule and Routes
– **05:30–06:30**: Wheelchair 2.5 km start (one beach-side lane). Starting in front of Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, heading north, U-turn at Amari Hotel, return via the same route, passing the Central Pattaya zebra crossing.
– **06:30**: 5 km start (beach sand). From Hard Rock Hotel, south to a U-turn past the start, then to Dusit Thani Pattaya for final U-turn, finishing at the start line.
– **06:40**: 3 km start (beach sand). From Hard Rock Hotel south to the finish at the start line.
– **06:50**: 1 km start (beach sand). From Hard Rock Hotel south to the finish at the start line.
– **07:00–07:30**: Awards ceremony.
Beyond promoting health, the run carries deep meaning, inspiring participants and delivering “rays of hope” to children and people with disabilities.
