The Pattaya Film Festival 2024 has officially kicked off, offering over 20 Thai and international films for free across various locations in the city.
On August 21st, 2024, the Pattaya Film Festival 2024 was officially inaugurated at Central Marina Shopping Mall in Pattaya, Chonburi. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Prachaya Unpetchworakon, Deputy Governor of Chonburi, and Mr. Poramase Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya, along with other distinguished guests.
The festival began with a seminar on “Developing Pattaya as a Filming Location,” led by Mr. Anucha Boonyawatana, President of the Thai Directors Association.
The Pattaya Film Festival 2024 will run from August 21st to 25th, 2024. It features more than 20 Thai and international films, screened both in cinemas and outdoors. The event also includes masterclasses with international directors to promote film cultures for audiences of all ages.
