Thousands of Thai and foreign tourists flooded the streets of Pattaya on April 15th to celebrate Songkran, turning the city into a water-soaked playground.

On April 15th, The Pattaya News reporters observed a lively Songkran atmosphere throughout Pattaya City. Large crowds of Thai and foreign tourists took to the streets to celebrate by splashing water along Pattaya Second Road, Beach Road, and Walking Street. Many local businesses also joined in the festivities.

The Songkran celebrations will continue in Banglamung District with scheduled “Wan Lai” events: on April 16th at Wat Thammasamakkee, April 17th at Soi Nern Plub Wan, April 18th in Naklua, and concluding with the main Wan Lai Pattaya event on April 19th. The final day is expected to draw large crowds of Thai tourists from both nearby and distant provinces, as well as many international visitors.
