Pattaya, Thailand – December 24th, 2025 – Pattaya City is making final preparations for its annual National Children’s Day event, set to take place on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, aligning with Thailand’s nationwide observance on the second Saturday of January.
Deputy Mayor Kritsana Boonsawat presided over a key planning meeting on December 24th at 1:30 p.m. in Meeting Room 221 at Pattaya City Hall. The session drew enthusiastic participation from school administrators under Pattaya City’s oversight, department heads, and relevant officials to ensure a smooth and successful event.
The celebration will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the multipurpose grounds in front of Pattaya City Hall. The event aims to provide a platform for children and youth to showcase their talents, express themselves boldly, develop skills according to their interests, and learn to live happily with others, while bringing joy to young residents in the area.

This year’s activities will feature performances by students from schools affiliated with Pattaya City, inflatable play zones, game booths with prizes sponsored by government and private sectors, educational exhibitions from various agencies, and free snacks, food, and drinks for children and accompanying parents throughout the day.
Highlights include a cherry picker ride from the city’s Land Disaster Prevention Division, allowing kids to experience real high-altitude operations, along with live fire extinguishing demonstrations. A special treat awaits the first 100 children to register: Pattaya’s Mayor will personally guide them on an exclusive tour of the mayor’s office and present gifts.

In addition, the event will feature a dedicated exhibition honoring Her Royal Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, covering her royal biography, initiatives, role as the “Mother of the Land,” royal projects, and artistic contributions such as weaving, embroidery, and basketry.
Three performance stages will be set up: one main stage at the multipurpose grounds and two smaller ones for interactive activities, including quiz sessions tied to the exhibitions where children can answer questions to win prizes.
Registration for wristbands—entitling one per child to free food and drink coupons—begins at 6:00 a.m. on the day of the event.

Pattaya City invites all parents to bring their children for a day of fun and happiness.
