Organizers for the Pattaya Halloween Festival have announced that all evening events previously planned for October 31st, such as a parade, street party, haunted house, and more will be postponed to 2026 due to the recent passing of Her Royal Majesty Queen Mother Sirikit and a feeling that the tone of the event would not match the current period of national mourning.

The event will, however, still have an afternoon seminar and panel with top horror film directors in Thailand and will still proceed as planned at Cape Dara Resort.

Private events are not banned for Halloween but government officials urge organizers to keep them respectful and in an appropriate tone due to the current period of national mourning.
