St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated worldwide on March 17th each year to commemorate St. Patrick, born in 385 AD and died on March 17, 461 AD. Irish tradition credits him with reviving the dead and driving snakes out of Ireland, leading to the global festivities that celebrate Irish culture and heritage.

Pattaya, known for its cultural diversity and large number of international residents, including a significant Irish community, has hosted this parade annually for 13 years. The event wants to promote tourism, develop unity among government, private sector, and community groups, and enhance Pattaya’s image as a versatile destination capable of hosting diverse activities.

The parade started at the Central Pattaya Beach activity area, proceeded along the Pattaya Beach Road promenade, and concluded at Pattaya City School 8 (Pattayanukul School). Spectators enjoyed colorful displays, music, and energetic performances throughout the route, creating joyful memories for participants and onlookers alike.

The parade attracted considerable attention from tourists lining the beach, many of who joined in the festive spirit by wearing green and cheering along the way. Organizers described this year’s event as a great success in bringing people together to celebrate Irish heritage while showcasing Pattaya’s welcoming atmosphere.
