Central Marina Pattaya recently organized Pattaya’s first-ever ‘Drag Queen Star 2024’ beauty pageant competition on June 16th, 2024, to commemorate Pride Month.

The event, held under the theme “Thailand’s Pride Celebration 2024: Pride For All,” aimed to promote diversity and equality within the LGBTQ+ community.

The competition was open to individuals of all genders and nationalities, with a total prize pool of over 70,000 baht. The grand prize winner received 20,000 baht, while the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up received 15,000 baht, 10,000 baht, 7,000 baht, and 5,000 baht, respectively.

The event attracted 30 participants who showcased their talents and creativity through captivating performances on the grand stage. The winner of the event was contestant number 9, Chanyapan Jareon, who dressed in a Manin Mangkorn costume. She received a cash prize of 20,000 baht.
