The Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2024 dazzled the world, as it drew over 410,000 visitors and generated over 2.29 billion baht in revenue.

According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the event, held on November 29th to 30th, at Pattaya Beach, achieved an impressive 95% occupancy rate across 77,886 hotel and resort rooms in Pattaya.

Visitors spent an average of 4,517.49 baht per person during the festival, boosting opportunities for local vendors, food and beverage businesses in the area. This aligns with the city’s “Better Pattaya” policy, which aims for sustainable economic growth and better livelihoods for local residents.

Pattaya Mayor Mr. Poramase Ngampichet stated that the festival has become a major international event as seen by the massive turnout. The festival also received five prestigious global awards, such as Best Emergency Preparedness & Risk Management Plan award and International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) awards in USA.

Mr. Poramase stated that the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is crucial for boosting tourism and supporting local businesses. It also helps strengthen Pattaya’s reputation as a top festival destination, both in the region and worldwide.
