Here is the plan, announced today, for the STILL HAPPENING International Fireworks Festival 2025, now Titled The Light of Eternal Loyalty.
1. The event name, Pattaya International Fireworks Festival, will be enhanced to include “The Light of Eternal Loyalty.”
2. A Khon performance (traditional Thai masked dance) will be featured, as preserving Khon was one of the significant royal initiatives of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. When Khon was declining, Her Majesty declared, “If no one watches, I will watch it myself.”
3. The stage will host ceremonies and activities to express condolences and pay tribute to Her Majesty’s gracious contributions.
4. Before the show begins, attendees will observe a one-minute silence to pay respects to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
5. The event will open with a fireworks display titled “The Light of Eternal Loyalty.”
6. Thai and international attendees are invited to wear one of the eight traditional Thai royal attire styles (with a black ribbon) and are requested to wear clothing in subdued tones, avoiding bright colors.
7. A symphony orchestra performance will play royal compositions and songs dedicated to Her Majesty, accompanied by visuals of her royal activities.
8. A tribute area will be set up to honor Her Majesty, showcasing her royal initiatives, both as Thailand’s Queen and as the devoted partner of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great.
9. The international fireworks display will feature performances from five countries.
