Pattaya, Thailand – June 27th, 2026 – The shores of Pattaya Beach were bathed in rainbow colors as the Pattaya International Pride Festival 2026 kicked off in grand style, celebrating diversity, equality, and inclusion on a spectacular scale.

Deputy Mayor Panrada Attohi of Pattaya City attended the opening of the major event, held at Central Pattaya mall. The festival, a joint initiative between Central Pattaya, Pattaya City, government agencies, private sector partners, and local and international LGBTQ+ networks, runs under the inspiring theme “PROUD IN EVERY SHADE, CELEBRATE YOUR TRUE LIGHT.”

The theme focuses on pride in every facet of identity and the beauty of authentic self-expression. Organizers say the festival reinforces Pattaya’s image as a world-class tourist destination that is open, welcoming, and inclusive to people of all genders, ages, and backgrounds, while boosting the local economy.

The centerpiece of the festival was the International Pride Parade 2026, widely regarded as one of Thailand’s largest and most spectacular Pride parades. The procession began at Central Marina Outlet, winding through Pattaya’s bustling city center before concluding at Central Pattaya.

Throughout the event, audiences were treated to dazzling performances by renowned Thai and international artists, actors, influencers, beauty queens, and prominent LGBTQ+ figures. Highlights included appearances by Lukked Metinee, Um Athichat, Booko, and Nat Nisamanee, along with representatives from major pageant platforms who helped create an unforgettable atmosphere of pride and joy along the beachfront.

The three-day festival features a packed schedule of activities, including:

– Pride Performance Show
– Bangkok Rainbow Fashion Show
– Drag Queen Star Show
– Pride of Paradise Show
– Mini-concerts by popular artists
– Miss Healthy Queen 2026 pageant
– One Man One Woman on the Beach 2026 Contest

In addition, panel discussions and inspirational sessions organized by LGBTQ+ networks promoted equality, acceptance, and respectful coexistence.

Central Pattaya further enhanced the visitor experience with special shopping promotions and exclusive privileges throughout the festival period, positioning itself as a complete lifestyle and tourism landmark for both Thai and international visitors.
