Pattaya, Thailand – January 8th, 2026

The city of Pattaya launched an exciting street dance extravaganza on the evening of January 8th, with the official opening of the “Hit Da Beat Vol.3” Street Dance Battle at Terminal 21 Pattaya shopping mall.

Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, Mr. Damrongkiat Pinijkarn, presided over the opening ceremony, joined by city administrators and representatives from the event organizer, Chuan Mang Mee Organize Co., Ltd. (Chuan Organize). Ms. Hatairat Phoeket, Manager of Terminal 21 Pattaya, delivered a warm welcome address to attendees.

The four-day event, running from January 8 to 11, is to establish Pattaya as the premier hub for street dance competitions in eastern Thailand. It provides a national platform for dancers from across the country to showcase their talents and compete creatively in categories including breaking, popping, and open styles.

Adding prestige to the competition, judges include Thailand’s No. 1 street dance champion, who also holds an impressive 16th ranking worldwide, ensuring high standards and international credibility.

In his remarks, Deputy Mayor Damrongkiat Pinijkarn explained the event’s positive impact: “Hosting the ‘Hit Da Beat’ street dance competition is a creative initiative that allows youth and dancers nationwide to fully demonstrate their abilities. It promotes contemporary performing arts while advancing Pattaya as a city of diverse events and cultural richness. Pattaya City is committed to supporting meaningful activities that inspire young people and sustainably boost the local economy and tourism.”

The competition continues through January 11 at Terminal 21 Pattaya’s Runway area, drawing enthusiasts and participants for high-energy battles and performances.
