Pattaya Mayor Poramese Ngampichet joined representatives from MONOMAX, distinguished guests, tourists, and local residents on the city’s beachfront to watch a special live screening of the Premier League clash between Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers. The match was broadcast on a massive cinema-sized screen against the backdrop of the sandy shore, creating a lively atmosphere filled with sporting excitement.
The event was graced by the presence of Liverpool legend Steve McManaman, who joined the crowd to watch the game. Adding to the thrill were young athletes from Mon Thong Wittaya School and Pattaya City School 7, whose participation delighted football fans and attendees alike.

In addition to the match, spectators were treated to a test drone light show, serving as a preview for a drone grand spectacle planned for December 29th, 2025, ahead of the official opening of the main festivities of the three day countdown event.
This beachside screening forms part of the broader “PATTAYA COUNTDOWN 2026 MONOMAX” celebrations, organised by Pattaya City to deliver fresh experiences in sports and entertainment, while boosting tourism and stimulating the local economy during the year-end holiday season.
