The Music on the Beach marching band extravaganza wrapped up successfully on Saturday, as announced by Pattaya Mayor Poramase Ngampiches.

On September 16th at 7:00 PM, Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramase presided over the closing ceremony and award presentation for the Music on the Beach 2023 event, which was held from September 15th to 16th on Pattaya Beach.

Pattaya City, in collaboration with the Tourism Industry Association of Thailand, organized the Music on the Beach 2023 event to promote tourism in Pattaya, as well as to enhance artistic abilities, especially in music, for the young generation, instilling in them a sense of tender spirit, discipline, love, and unity.

The event also encouraged the children to use their leisure time productively. Moreover, the event provided an opportunity for talented youth in music to compete against internationally renowned orchestras.

On the final day of the competition, the “Band Theater Battles” category was won by the team “Lampang Kalayanee.” In the “Band Talent Show Bands” category, the winner was the team “Benjamarach Utitsat” from Phetchaburi province. Lastly, in the “Street Parade” category, the victor was once again the team “Benjamarach Utitsat”.

Mr. Poramase expressed his congratulations to the musicians who received awards and those who did not, emphasizing that what they all gained was friendship and skills to bring joy to the people.

Lastly, he described the event as a great success, saying the atmosphere was filled with excitement and fervor as the resounding music echoed throughout the streets and Central Pattaya Beach.
