Pattaya, May 5th, 2026– Pattaya City is gearing up to host the highly anticipated “Pattaya International Pride Festival 2026,” set to take place from June 26 to 28. The event, now in its seventh year, promises to deliver a spectacular celebration of diversity, inclusion, and equality along Pattaya Beach.
Deputy Mayor Krisana Boonsawat presided over a preparatory meeting at Pattaya City Hall, with relevant agencies attending in full force to ensure the festival’s success.

The Pattaya International Pride Festival has become a globally awaited event, drawing massive crowds each year. Previous editions have attracted more than 10,000 participants in the parade alone, featuring up to 100 fully booked parade floats stretching over a 2.8-kilometer route. Organizers want to once again boost the local economy and tourism sector by attracting both Thai and international visitors while promoting LGBTQIA+ rights, equality, and greater understanding of gender diversity and inclusion.

During the meeting, officials discussed key operational aspects, including venue setup, security measures, medical services, traffic management, and public cleanliness.
Traffic arrangements, particularly on Pattaya Second Road, remain under review. No final decision has been made on whether the road will be closed or kept open during the event. Authorities plan additional consultations with relevant agencies to minimize disruption to residents and motorists.

The festival is expected to reinforce Pattaya’s reputation as a welcoming destination that celebrates diversity while delivering significant economic benefits to the city. Further details on the program and traffic updates will be announced as planning progresses.
