Pattaya, Thailand – Pattaya City is gearing up for a colorful explosion of culture and joy as the Holi Festival Pattaya 2026 (also known as the Amazing Thailand Grand Holi Festival and the 4th Color Splash Festival) was officially announced in a press conference held at the Platinum Lounge on the 2nd floor of Central Pattaya Beach shopping center.
Pattaya City Mayor Poramese Ngampichet led the announcement alongside key figures from the Indian-Thai community, including Mr. Laxman Singh, President of the Indian Association Pattaya; Mr. Sukhraj Kala, President of the Thai-Indian Business Association Pattaya; and Mr. Preecha Champi, President of the Bharata Choice Association.

The event drew distinguished guests such as Ms. Amporn Kaewsaeng, Chairperson of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Pattaya Office representative; representatives from Bharat Choice Co. Ltd.; Central Pattaya Beach shopping center; the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON); and numerous members of the media.
The festival, a group effort between Pattaya City and the Thai-Indian Business Association Pattaya, is scheduled to take place from March 13 to 15, 2026, at Central Pattaya Beach. It wants to infuse the world-renowned tourist destination with strong positice energy while promoting Indian culture, diversity, and traditions on an international stage. Organizers say the event will strengthen ties between Thailand and India and provide a significant boost to Pattaya’s tourism-driven economy. Pattaya has a large number of Indian tourists and also a strong local population of Thai citizens with Indian roots.

The three-day celebration will be divided into three main zones to offer a well-rounded experience:
– Religious Zone: Featuring sacred rituals and worship ceremonies dedicated to Lord Ganesha and Lord Krishna for blessings and good fortune, in line with Hindu beliefs.
– Entertainment Zone: The highlight of the festival, traditional color splashing with safe, organic, non-toxic powders, allowing participants to join in the joyful Holi customs amid live music, DJs, and dancing.
– Food Zone: A variety of international and authentic Indian cuisine available for visitors to enjoy.
Adding to the excitement, renowned artists and singers from both Thailand and India will perform throughout the event, ensuring non-stop entertainment over the three days.

Organizers anticipate more than 100,000 attendees, including Thai locals and international tourists over the three days, drawn to one of India’s most beloved festivals. Holi, known as the Festival of Colors, marks the end of the old year and the welcoming of new beginnings. It symbolizes happiness and unity, with participants playfully throwing colored powders at one another, a tradition rooted in Hindu beliefs that is believed to have influenced water-splashing customs across Southeast Asia, including Thailand’s own Songkran festival.

Admission to the festival is free, with activities expected to run daily in the late afternoon and early evening (typically from around 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM based on recent promotions). Residents and visitors are encouraged to mark their calendars for what promises to be a rainbow-hued, high-energy beachside spectacle that blends cultural heritage with Pattaya’s signature seaside fun.
This year’s Holi Festival continues to grow in popularity, building on previous editions to become a highlight of Pattaya’s annual event calendar.
