Pattaya —
Mr. Nakorn Pholluk-in, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Administrative Organization Council (PAO), marked the opening of the Pattaya Squid Fair at Terminal 21 Pattaya yesterday, April 28th.
The Pattaya Squid Fair was held for the first time in Pattaya in partnership with Pattaya City, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and the Pattaya Business and Tourism Association. Check the video and some photos below and then read more about the event following them.
The goal, according to Mr. Nakorn, aimed at stimulating the economy by gathering all well-known seafood vendors across Pattaya, especially the squid vendors in one location so that the visitors could conveniently enjoy them. The Pattaya Squid Fair was held in front of Terminal 21 Pattaya on a 250-meter long mock-up runway. Most of the vendors decorated their stalls with Japanese ornaments, which added the Japanese fish market atmosphere to the overall event. Also, a talented female artist Earth Pattawee would be singing on May 1st to add more colors to the event too.
Do not forget! The Pattaya Squid Fair will last for only three days, starting yesterday April 29th to May 1st at Terminal 21 Pattaya.
