Pattaya, Thailand – On September 16th, 2025, a big step towards promoting Pattaya’s cultural landscape was taken at a meeting held in Room 221 at Pattaya City Hall. Chaired by Mr. Siwat Boonkerd, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City, the meeting was led by the Committee for Promoting Pattaya’s Arts and Culture. Attendees included representatives from local art networks, community leaders, the Chonburi Provincial Cultural Office, private sector business owners, and government agencies.
The committee discussed plans for the inaugural Pattaya Art Festival, aimed at showing artistic expression and enhancing the city’s cultural identity. Proposals included promoting public art, contemporary art, exhibitions, support for local artists, and the creation of creative spaces such as an “Art Street,” pop-up spaces, and community art zones. These are designed to communicate Pattaya’s unique identity, attract quality tourism, and establish the city as a creative hub, lively around the clock, not just at night.

“We want Pattaya to be a dynamic creative city, a destination for every day,” a committee representative stated, showing the festival’s role in driving cultural and tourism growth.
An exact date and time for the festival is not yet officially released. When it is, The Pattaya News will ensure it is communicated to our readers.
