At City Hall, Mayor Poramase met with the chairman of the NSSAT, Mr. Worawit Chavananun, to discuss the preparations for the competition.

According to Mr. Worawit, the NSSAT will be hosting the ‘IV Shotgun World Shoot 2023, Pattaya Thailand’ from November 27th to December 9th in 2023.

The competition will be arranged at the Eastern National Sports Training Center in the Huai Yai area of Chonburi province. The contest aims to promote the sport of shotgun shooting among Thai and international fans.

With approximately 600 athletes from 30 countries already registered to participate, it is expected that the event will be bustling with people, which will generate a lot of revenue for the province. Mr. Worawit, therefore, would like to invite Pattaya City to co-host the event and use the beach area near Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel for the opening ceremony, scheduled for December 3rd.

In response, Poramase promised Pattaya City is fully supportive and committed to providing convenience and support to the athletes and stakeholders as appropriate.
