Pattaya City is joining hands with 25 organizations to host an anti-drug parade on Beach Road on June 17th.

Pattaya officials led by deputy mayor Mr. Wuttisak Rueimkitkan convened yesterday, June 14th, to discuss the event preparations.

According to Mr. Wuttisak, the official name of the event is called We are Pattaya White. The event aims to participate in the global campaign “International Day Against Drug Abuse”. As many as 300 participants are expected to attend the parade and festivities, which will be held from 3 PM to 10 PM on Beach Road on June 17th, starting at the King Rama IX Sailing Club Monument.

The highlight for the day will include a parade between Central Mall and the Sailing Monument around 3PM featuring over 25 organizations from both public and private sectors, marching to raise awareness against drug addiction. Additionally, there will be performances by extreme sports teams, boy bands, community associations, as well as beverage industry associations.

Although there will be no road closure during the event period, drivers are advised to plan their journey carefully.
