PATTAYA, Thailand – On September 15th, 2025, at 6:30 PM, Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramese Ngampichet assigned Mr. Siwat Boonkird, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City, to participate in a press conference announcing the “Chonburi Cultural Street Festival” at the Sunken Court of Central Pattaya shopping mall.

The event was chaired by Mr. Phongthasit Pijanant, Deputy Governor of Chonburi Province, alongside Ms. Kanung Kailuenam, Chonburi Provincial Cultural Officer, and Ms. Ramphueng Supharasri, President of the Takhian Tia – Nong Phlap Moral Community. The press conference was attended by government officials, private sector representatives, local communities, cultural networks, media such as The Pattaya News, and tourists.

The “Chonburi Cultural Street Festival,” part of a broader initiative to enhance tourism and elevate Chonburi’s status as a world-class tourism destination, is scheduled for September 24–28, 2025, at Pattaya Central Beach. The festival will feature a variety of activities, including exhibitions showcasing tourism routes across all 11 districts of Chonburi, workshops on art and culture, stalls offering local products and renowned Chonburi cuisine, and performances blending traditional and contemporary Thai music, as well as captivating cultural displays.

This event aims to promote cultural tourism and creative cultural streets in Chonburi, leveraging religion, art, and culture to preserve and pass down local heritage. By showing pride in Chonburi’s cultural identity, the festival seeks to inspire and develop sustainable cultural tourism while creating economic opportunities for local communities.
