Pattaya, Thailand – December 23rd, 2025 – Pattaya City is set to welcome the first-ever “Eastern Muslim Cultural Expo” (มหกรรมวัฒนธรรมมุสลิมถิ่นตะวันออก), a celebration uniting faith, identity, and the rich traditions of eastern Thailand’s Muslim community.
Organized by the Chonburi Provincial Islamic Committee together with local Muslim cultural networks and supported by Pattaya City, the three-day event will take place from January 16–18, 2026, at Central Pattaya Beach.
This festival is to promote, preserve, and showcase the unique heritage of Muslim communities in the region, while displaying Pattaya’s role as a multicultural destination. Visitors can expect captivating traditional performances, exhibitions on Islamic wisdom and heritage, educational displays on local customs, competitions, and stalls offering legendary halal cuisine alongside community products.
Against the stunning backdrop of Pattaya’s beachfront, the expo will provide an elegant platform for cultural exchange, inviting Thais and international tourists alike to experience the living power of diversity.
Mayor Poramese Ngampichet has stated the event’s significance, noting Pattaya’s long-standing harmony among diverse cultures and its suitability as host for this inaugural gathering, which draws participation from representatives of 30 mosques across Chonburi Province.
