Pattaya City has been invited by the Jet Ski Sports Association of Thailand (JSSAT) to be the host of the prestigious international King’s Cup – Jet Ski World Cup championship, set to take place at Jomtien Beach later this year.

Today, June 23rd , Mr. Parikhet Suebsahakarn, the Director of the JSSAT, met with Mr. Poramase Ngamphiches, the Mayor of Pattaya, and Pattaya City officials to seek cooperation as the host for the international jet ski championships.

According to Parikhet, the JSSAT wants Pattaya to serve as the venue for the thrilling King’s Cup – Jet Sk World Cup competition scheduled from December 13th to 17th, 2023, at Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, with participants from around the world competing for victory.

Poramase expressed his delight at hosting this prestigious international sports event. He mentioned that the championship would not only attract tourists to witness the exciting competition but would also contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of Pattaya.

Pattaya has been the host for the event for a number of years and the event was even held during the Covid-19 pandemic, although without fans. It is generally held on Jomtien Beach near the night market area and is always a thrilling multi-day event.

As the cup is right in the middle of December, the high season for Pattaya tourism, thousands of tourists are expected to attend the event!
