PATTAYA, Thailand – On October 10th, 2025, at 1:00 PM, Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramese Ngampichet chaired a meeting to discuss the upcoming North Food Tourism festival, which is promoting Northern Thailand’s culinary and cultural heritage. The meeting, held at Room 132 of Pattaya City Hall, was attended by Mr. Phumipipat Kamolnart, Secretary to the Mayor, along with relevant officials and representatives from Lampang Province, who presented details of the event.

The North Food Tourism festival is scheduled for October 24th-26th, 2025, at Central Pattaya Beach, Chonburi. Organized under a project to promote and develop soft power for high-value tourism, the event will showcase authentic Northern Thai cuisine from Lampang, Lamphun, Chiang Mai, and Mae Hong Son. Signature dishes such as *laab*, *khao soi*, *gaeng om*, *sai ua*, and various local delicacies will be featured, alongside demonstrations of traditional cooking techniques using local ingredients. The festival will also include rare cultural performances from Northern Thailand, offering a unique experience for attendees.

The Lampang delegation met with Mayor Poramese to seek support for venue arrangements, publicity, and logistical facilitation to ensure the event’s success. The mayor expressed gratitude to the Governor of Lampang for recognizing Pattaya’s potential as a prime destination for hosting this tourism and cultural event. He added that the festival is expected to attract both Thai and international tourists, offering a great culinary and cultural experience during the holiday period.

Pattaya City has committed to supporting the event by providing the Central Pattaya Beach venue, assisting with publicity, and facilitating necessary arrangements. Mayor Poramese extended an invitation to the public to join the North Food Tourism festival from October 24-26, 2025.
