PATTAYA, Thailand – On August 3rd, 2025, at 6:10 AM, the city of Pattaya hosted the third edition of the “Pattaya Trail 2025” at the Blue Activity Area at Bali Hai Pier. The event, a thrilling urban trail run, saw enthusiastic participation from over 1,200 runners, both local and international, eager to conquer the scenic routes of Pattaya’s Phratamnak Hill.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Manoch Nongyai, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, joined by Mr. Krisana Boonsawad, also Deputy Mayor, alongside Pattaya City Council members, advisors, and representatives from the Pattaya Tourist Police, Traffic Police, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Pattaya Office), and the Sports Authority of Thailand (Chonburi Office). Mr. Chukiat Nongyai, President of the Pattaya Running Association kicked off the race with an energetic release of runners into the jungle.

Organized by Pattaya City along with the Pattaya Running Association, the Pattaya Trail 2025 offered two race distances—5 km and 10 km—taking participants through the city’s green heart and iconic landmarks. Runners enjoyed a unique blend of adventure and nature, soaking in the morning serenity of Pattaya’s forested trails while passing key attractions.

The event aimed to promote Pattaya as a hub for sports tourism, elevate the race to a national trail-running standard, and showcase the city’s natural beauty and landmarks to a global audience. Beyond health and fitness, the Pattaya Trail 2025 boosted the local economy by attracting health-conscious tourists, further cementing Pattaya’s reputation as a premier destination for sports and leisure.
