PATTAYA, Thailand – On September 11th, 2025, at 3:00 PM, Pattaya Mayor Mr. Poramese Ngampichet presided over the opening ceremony of the “GO! GO! JAPAN” festival, a grand celebration of Japanese culture held at the heart of Pattaya. The event, which showcases Japan’s rich traditions, cuisine, and entertainment, drew a distinguished crowd of local officials, dignitaries, and media.

Joining the mayor were key figures, including Mr. Korn Phattanasin, Assistant Secretary to the Mayor and manager of Ronin Japanese Restaurant, Ms. Mallika Sutsaneh, Deputy Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Pattaya Office), and Ms. Hathairat Phoket, Director of Terminal 21 Pattaya and founder of the Shinto Shrine in Sriracha. The group officially launched the festival, with Dr. Pittaya Phirom-on, Assistant Secretary to the Mayor, among the honored guests in attendance.

The “GO! GO! JAPAN” festival promises to immerse visitors in an authentic Japanese experience, featuring cultural performances, traditional cuisine, and interactive activities, making it a highlight of Pattaya’s event calendar.
