Over the past few days keen-eyed readers of The Pattaya News have spotted crowds of adoring fans and camera crews at several locations around Pattaya, including Grande Centre Point Space Hotel and the World’s Largest 7-11 in South Pattaya.
This was due to the shooting of episodes of “Keep Running”, a top rated Chinese reality and variety show set around various challenges and variety skits involving famous Chinese stars.
Even Pattaya Mayor Poramese Ngampiches got to participate as seen in the photos below, which had a school uniform theme for the actors.
According to the Pattaya Mayor, the show will help significantly boost tourism for Pattaya in the Chinese market as Keep Running is a highly rated and reviewed show even after many seasons in China. This is also part of future plans to make Pattaya a leading film and art city.
In fact, the Pattaya film festival starts in just one day!
