Shambalooloo is one of Pattaya’s most exciting new dining experiences — a cozy spot that brings the heart of Mediterranean home cooking and bakery delights right to the city center. With its fresh pastries, friendly atmosphere, and gentle background music, it’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. That is largely down to the warm and welcoming owners Gabi and his partner Lili.

At the heart of it all is Chef and owner, Gabi. The passionate and talented visionary whose dedication shines through in every dish. Prices start at just 120 baht, making this restaurant both affordable and exceptional in quality. The coffee is rich and smooth, the pastries are baked fresh daily, and the menu features some truly special creations — like Khachapuri , a Georgian-inspired dish made with five different cheeses. It’s full of authentic flavor and genuine soul.

During my visit, I started with creamy hummus topped with tahini, followed by the Shabbat special — poached fish in a rich tomato and pepper sauce, seasoned with Mediterranean herbs and spices. Every plate was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor.

One of the things I loved most about Shambalooloo is its inclusive menu. While Mediterranean food is the highlight, they also offer traditional Thai dishes — perfect for local diners who may be hesitant to try something new. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes everyone feel welcome. don’t take my word for it. Check out this recent visitor markaboutpattaya a vlogger and his friend and look at the reactions.
The atmosphere is warm and family-like, with the wonderful aroma of fresh bread and grilled dishes filling the air. The staff are cheerful and attentive, and you can feel the love that goes into everything served.

And the standout for me? The Schnitzel — Gabi’s creative twist on a beef Wellington, made with juicy chicken breast wrapped in golden pastry. Simply unforgettable.
Whether you come for a quick coffee, a fresh pastry, or a full Mediterranean feast, Shambalooloo will win your heart. A truly delightful new gem in Pattaya — I can’t recommend it enough. Eat the experience and feel the sincerity. Five stars from me!
