On July 5th, 2024, Mr. Chaiphon Paephiromrat, Deputy Governor of Chonburi province, presided over a meeting to prepare for the Vijitr Chonburi the Lighting Illumination “The Magical Island” event to promote tourism in Sri Racha, Chonburi.
The meeting discussed various aspects such as the event format, traffic management, cleanliness, and designated parking areas. This event aligns with the government’s policy “IGNITE Thailand” to promote tourism in all dimensions and aims to boost the tourism industry, welcoming both international tourists and Thai attendees.
The activities are designed to be contemporary and meet the needs of the target audience, creating new landmarks in the area. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has chosen Si Racha to host the Vijitr Chonburi the Lighting Illumination “The Magical Island” event to promote Sri Racha as a tourist destination, create job opportunities, and boost the production of local goods and services, providing income to the local community through tourism.
The event will take place from July 20th to 28th, 2024, at Koh Loi, Sri Racha.
Highlights will include spectacular displays of ocean colors and performances by famous artists, transforming the venue into a new nighttime tourism experience with light and sound shows and various creative zones.
It is expected that the Vijitr Chonburi “The Magical Island” event will attract a large number of Thai and international tourists, increasing awareness of Si Racha and significantly boosting local community income.
