If you’re looking for delicious and budget-friendly duck cuisine in the Sri Racha area, you might want to visit “Laokong Yaowarat” restaurant, a cozy, local place which offers a variety of duck dishes with spectacular recipes.
Mr. Chalermpol Kruekaew, the restaurant owner, gave a special interview with Pattaya Unplugged and said that he serves mouth-watering dishes such as roasted duck served with rice, duck noodles, duck offal, duck bone soup, and basil fried rice with duck, starting from only 60 baht.
He said that the idea of opening a duck restaurant came from his love of duck dishes. He had tasted duck dishes all over the Yaowarat area in Bangkok, which is very famous for duck cuisine, and it inspired him to create his own recipes.
This led him to open Laokong Yaowarat. The place is now known in the area for its duck dishes that are not greasy but rather filled with tender and flavorful meat. The special thing about the duck dishes at the restaurant is the unique combination of Chinese herbs used in the duck soup and noodles, Mr. Chalermpol said.
Furthermore, besides the duck dishes, Laokong Yaowarat also offers other mounth-watering dishes such as pork leg with rice, pork noodle soup, and pork bone soup, all at affordable prices. The restaurant is located near Laem Chabang Technological College, a bustling area in Sri Racha, which is well-known among locals for its delicious and budget-friendly meals.
Laokong Yaowarat is open from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM every day. Mr. Chalermpol invites everyone to visit his place and promises he will serve only the best duck dishes that will leave everyone’s taste buds craving more.
