On July 28th, 2024, Thailand celebrates the auspicious occasion of His Royal Majesty the King’s Birthday Anniversary at Sanam Luang, Bangkok.

Ms. Jiraporn Sinthuprai, the Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, announced that the Thai government is organizing grand ceremonies and events nationwide to honor His Royal Majesty the King.

Citizens are encouraged to participate by wearing yellow shirts with the royal emblem and gathering along the procession route to greet His Majesty during the royal audience at the Grand Palace.

The public is also invited to light candles and offer blessings simultaneously at 7:19 PM (19:19) across the country, with the main event taking place at Sanam Luang. Each of the 76 provinces will host their own celebrations.

Additionally, the Bureau of the Royal Household, an agency of the monarchy of Thailand, has arranged a venue for signing well-wishes at the Grand Palace from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on July 27-29, and online at www.royaloffice.th from July 23-29.

The ceremonies and celebrations on July 28-29 will be broadcast live on the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT), Radio Thailand, and various online platforms.
