Pattaya —

The annual Vegetarian Festival officially began in Pattaya yesterday, October 2nd, marking the start of the nine-day event celebrated across Thailand.

Locals and tourists can participate in this festival by enjoying a wide variety of vegetarian food offerings at street stalls and restaurants. To spot those that sell vegetarian food, look for the ones that display yellow flags, which indicate their participation in the festival.

The Vegetarian Festival is also observed with traditional rituals at local temples. Participants are invited to wear white clothing and follow a strict vegetarian diet to cleanse the body and mind. The festival will run until October 11th.

Be sure to visit the many food vendors across Pattaya and join in by just enjoying delicious vegan cuisines!
