The ‘VIJITR 5 Regions @ Chonburi: The Magic of Underwater World’ light and sound extravaganza is currently taking place in Chonburi’s Sri Racha district.
This major event features modern light, sound, and multimedia shows, transforming the landscape of Sri Racha’s Koh Loy into a colorful spectacle. Running from July 20th-28th, 2024, the festival aims to delight visitors with jaw-dropping light shows, local music, delicious cuisine, and rows upon rows of community food stalls.
The VIJITR 5 Regions @ Chonburi: The Magic of Underwater World event is a combined effort of Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Sri Racha Administration to stimulate the local economy during the off-season. The event is also part of the Thai government’s strategy to position Thailand as a year-round tourism hub, encompassing both major cities and lesser known areas of the country.
The event features a stunning digital light art festival that showcases the richness of Thailand’s marine life. Visitors are invited to witness the enchanting underwater world, with immersive displays of marine animals and coral reefs.
Adding to the excitement, popular Thai artists such as Tilly Birds, Slap Kiss, and Serious Bacon will perform at the event. The festival also features various local vendors and community food stalls, offering authentic Thai cuisine.
