Pattaya mayor holds press conference to announce upcoming Pattaya Festival

Pattaya —

The Pattaya mayor held a grand press conference yesterday evening to announce the arrival of the Pattaya Festival.

The conference took place on Terminal 21’s mock-up runway yesterday, September 10th, with Poramase Ngampiches, the Pattaya mayor, chairing the event.

The mayor told The Pattaya News: “The Pattaya Festival is one of my attempts that not only aims to revive Pattaya’s economy, damaged by COVID-19, but also to regain the lost vibrancy and energy.”

The event is set to be packed with many activities like a parade, battles of renowned marching bands, and concerts led by “Big Ass” and “Buddha Bless” — the former a retro Thai music band, the latter a hip hop group — as well as many more EDM-styled DJs.

The Pattaya Festival will run from September 16th to 17th on Pattaya Beach with free admission. Everyone is encouraged to come to help the city.
