The Pattaya Cultural Council, in collaboration with the Culture Office of Chonburi province and Pattaya City, is preparing to launch a new initiative to showcase and preserve Thai heritage.
The project, entitled “Transmit, Promote, and Preserve Thai Cultural Heritage,” will be held on April 1st and 2nd, 2023, on Pattaya Beach.
The project aims to honor Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who is an exemplary figure in preserving Thai culture and heritage. The event will feature various activities, such as exhibitions, live demonstrations, and performances, highlighting the different aspects of Thai arts and culture.
The council meeting, held on March 22nd, was chaired by Mr. Poramase Ngampiches, the mayor of Pattaya, and Mr. Mana Yapakum, the chairman of the Pattaya Cultural Council. Representatives from various departments also attended the meeting to discuss the preparations for the upcoming event.
Poramase said the fest aims to raise awareness among Thai people of the importance of preserving and promoting Thai heritage. This initiative seeks to inspire the younger generation to appreciate the unique beauty of Thai culture and to pass it on to future generations.
Through showcasing and transmitting Thai heritage, the event also hopes to inspire a new sense of appreciation and understanding among visitors about the value of cultural heritage.This event will be an excellent opportunity for locals and tourists alike to experience the diversity and richness of Thai culture.
