Bang Saray holds cultural event and fishing contest to boost domestic tourism

Sattahip, Chonburi —

Bang Saray recently held a cultural event and a fishing contest to boost domestic tourism Tuesday, May 3rd.

Sattahip District Chief Chatchai Sriphoon presided over the opening ceremony of “Embracing the Sea Breeze at Bang Saray Old Community” at Bang Saray Village, Bang Saray sub-district, Sattahip district, Chonburi.

This event featured many interesting activities, but the highlight seemed to be the fishing competition, which started from 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m at Bang Saray Beach. Each competitor was allowed to use only one fishing rod, and the first place winner would receive a 5,000 baht prize for catching the most fish. At the end, Mr. Samroeng Nilyam triumphed over other contestants with over 40 fish caught and got his prize from the Sattahip district chief.

The event was overwhelmed with the contestant’s enthusiasm and happiness.
