Pattaya —

Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden ushered in the New Year with a ceremony of merit-making, featuring nine majestic elephants.

Joining Mr. Kamphon Tansatch, the garden’s president, on January 1st, 2024, were the garden’s management members, staff, tourists, and elephants, all lending their hands and trunks to offer alms to the 19 invited monks from nine different temples.

Adding another layer of spiritual enrichment, Phra Khru Palad Winaithirapanyo, Assistant to the Abbot of Wat Thepprasat, bestowed a sacred blessing with holy water upon the attendees and the nine elephants. This ritual sought to shower spiritual well-being upon both individuals and the elephants.

Beyond the heart of the Monday merit-making ceremony, Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden, a haven for tourists, offers a tapestry of other engaging activities to captivate visitors. From exploring the stunning botanical gardens to witnessing elephant performances, the garden buzzes with vibrant energy. For those seeking a slice of Thai cultural richness, Nong Nooch Pattaya Garden awaits with open arms, welcoming visitors every day from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
