The city of Pattaya is gearing up to host the 2024 IKF World Beach Korfball Championship, which will take place from April 26th-28th at Jomtien Beach.
According to Mr. Kritsana Bunsawat, the Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, who chaired a preparation meeting on Wednesday, April 10th, the event is expected to attract teams from Australia, Belgium, China, Chinese Taipei, the Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Singapore, the United States, and Thailand.
The championship is expected to boost the economy of Pattaya and Thailand as a whole, and will also help to promote Pattaya as a sports city and a destination for sports tourism.
The city of Pattaya invites everyone to join in welcoming the athletes and to cheer on their beloved teams from April 26th to 28th at Jomtien Beach. This championship serves as a qualifier event for The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China.
