A council meeting was held yesterday, March 14th, in preparation for the upcoming high-energy competition. Pattaya Deputy Mayor Krishna Boonsawat, who presided over the meeting, discussed several matters with the event organizers, police, and city departments.

The deputy emphasized the safety of the athletes and the convenience of those involved throughout the event.

The contest is divided into two categories: windsurfing from March 16th to 19th and SUP from March 25th to 26th, a total of 6 days near the Jomtien Beach Sports Service Center. There are over 300 athletes from across the country in attendance.

Krishna said the contest not only promotes a healthy lifestyle and provides an opportunity for athletes to become future national athletes, it also promotes the image of Pattaya as a sports city and helps boost tourism.
