Chonburi —

Over 1,500 runners laced up their shoes and hit the pavement for the annual “SVT Run 2023 Charity For Kids” event, held on December 17th at Srisuwich School in the Banglamung district.

Dr. Prathommaporn Fakrurk, the school director, proudly served as the event’s chairman and officiated the start of the race today.

This year’s SVT Run continued its tradition of raising funds for two worthy causes: the Baan Kru Ja Foundation, which supports the protection and care of children who have experienced abuse, and the Baan Jing Jai Foundation.

With a focus on both physical activity and charitable giving, the event offered four race categories for all ages and abilities.

Dr. Prathommaporn spoke about the event’s dual purpose: “SVT Run 2023 Charity For Kids is more than just a race; it’s a chance to promote education, public welfare, and healthy living. We encourage people of all ages to come together, get active, and support important causes in our community.”

The enthusiasm and commitment of the participants were evident throughout the race. With each stride, runners contributed to raising funds for vulnerable children and making a positive impact on their lives.
