Pattaya-

This weekend, February 14 to the 16 at Central Festival Pattaya Beach thousands of members of the LGBTIQ (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, Intersex and Queer) community will gather in Pattaya to show PRIDE.

Pattaya has long had a strong and proud local LGBTIQ community and many people come from all over the world to meet other like minded individuals here.

The event will feature a major parade over the weekend on Beach Road, dancers, concerts, beauty contests, prizes, food, the chance to network and meet other members of the community and for those who are not LGBTIQ to learn about their culture and open their eyes. The Parade is Saturday around 4:00 PM.

The point of the event is to spread the positive message of the LGBTIQ community and to encourage unity and understanding for people of all backgrounds and cultures.

Admission to the event is free and participants are encouraged to wear their favourite outfits and costumes to show PRIDE.

Pattaya Unplugged will be attending the event and bring you photos and videos as well as a recap of what is sure to be a busy and fun event!
